About

We're CodedMD.
Here's why we exist.

The short version: we got tired of medicine being harder than it needs to be — so we started building our way out of it.

Fifth year Final paper Hours to go No plan

A group of us showed up to the venue knowing we were cooked. Hours to go. Mountains of material. No plan.

And then something weird happened. We started absorbing information faster than we ever had in our lives. Call it adrenaline. Call it panic. Call it the brain finally deciding to cooperate.

We started calling it coding — squashing huge topics into shapes the brain could actually hold.

We passed. We kept doing it. Our group became "The Coders."

CodedMD is the next step: taking what worked for us and building it into tools, books, and resources for everyone else. The group was the lab. CodedMD is the product.

Why we exist

The system is too serious
for no reason.

Somewhere along the way, medical education decided that being tired was the same as being good. That skipping meals was a personality trait. That touching grass was for weaker degrees.

We think that's silly. Medicine is hard enough without the extra layer of performative suffering. Our whole thing is making the learning part easier so you can get back to being a human being.

Who we are

A small team,
for now.

We're keeping our names off the page for now. The lineup is still shaking out, and we'd rather let the work do the introducing. When we're ready, you'll meet us properly.
